The memoir tells Rideau’s moving and inspiring rags to riches story of accomplishing the nearly imposible by a Black woman born into a Creole faily in New Orleans during the Jim Crow era.
As we conclude in “Amplifying Black Voices,” we honor the Awarded Best Young Sommelier in America, Andre Hueston Mack as he has turned his winemaking dreams into fruition with Maison Noir Wines in Oregon. Now instead of winning awards for his wine lists, he’s winning accolades and adoration for his wines.
